Mount Everest, also known in Nepal as Sagarmāthā and in Tibet as Chomolungma, is the Earth’s highest mountain. It is located in the Mahalangur section of the Himalayas and forms part of the seven continental summits.

Vinson Massif is the highest mountain of Antarctica, lying in the Sentinel Range of the Ellsworth Mountains, which stand above the Ronne Ice Shelf near the base of the Antarctic Peninsula. Vinson Massif forms part of the seven continental summits.
